In the molecule of the title compound, C20H16N2O2, the planar benzimidazole system is oriented with respect to the furan and phenyl rings with dihedral angles of 87.41 (10) and 61.65 (5)degrees, respectively. In the crystal structure, intermolecular C-H... 0 and C-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds link the molecules to form a network structure.
