Abstract

We investigate formulas for closely related series of the forms: Sigma(infinity)(n=0)1/(Uan+b + c), Sigma(infinity)(n=0)(-1)U-n(an+b)/(Uan+b + c)(2), Sigma U-infinity(n=0)2(an+b)/(U-an+b(2) + c)(2) for certain values of a, b, and c.
