Abstract

BACKGROUND: Lichen planus (LP) is a papulosquamous dermatosis in which immunologic mechanisms play an important role in its pathogenesis. Topical calcipotriol, which mainly stimulates differentiation and inhibits proliferation of keratinocytes, also has immunosuppressive and antiinflammatory functions.
