Özet

The paper describes application of fuzzy logic in the speed control system that uses dc/dc chopper and de traction motors. The fuzzy control linearizes the characteristics of the chopper in discontinuous conduction mode and controls the feedback current on speed loops as well. The new proposed system controlled all aspects of accelerating to speed and braking for corners or stopping at platforms. In simulation, it is demonstrated that the fuzzy logic controller was superior to conventional controller among several key parameters, including accuracy in stopping at platforms, rider comfort (jerkiness of acceleration and braking) and fuel economy. Furthermore, in operation system which evaluates safety, comfort, tracebility of target velocity, and the accuracy of a stop gap has been developed. Therefore, system performance can be directly adjusted as desired.
