Pemphigus vegetans is the rarest form of pemphigus that is an autoimmune disease. It occurs in 1-2% of all patients with pemphigus. The disease is classified as the Neumann and Hallopeau types according to the clinical picture and course. It is characterized by vegetative plaques that are mainly localized on intertriginous areas, scalp and face. The cerebriform or scrotal tonque may accompany with the common oral mucosa erosions which is almost seen all patient. Nail involvement is seldom described. Only one case with oral mucosa and unilateral axillary involvement has been reported in the literature. Here, we report a male patient with oral and genital mucosal erosions, scrotal tonque, and unilateral axillary involvement and diagnosed as Hallopeau type pemphigus vegetans with clinical and histopathological findings and the disease course.
