Abstract

In this paper, the homotopy analysis method (HAM) is used for computing an unknown time-dependent parameter in an inverse semi-linear parabolic partial differential equation and compared with the Adomian decomposition method (ADM). To show the efficiency of the new approach, test example is presented.
