Özet

In this study, design and the prototype of a 3kW sun tracking photovoltaic energy conversion system is introduced. The operational principle of the system is explained and the structural parts of the system are described. The most significant feature of the system is the ability of tracking the sun. Thus, the sunlight always comes through the surface of the photovoltaic arrays perpendicularly and the electrical energy is efficiently obtained from the sun energy. Due to this feature, the energy produced by the same number of photovoltaic arrays increases by 45%. This prototype calls attention to the renewable energy sources and it is an example of using the sun energy in our country.
