Özet

In this study, a voice coil actuator based active acoustic metamaterial has been designed and fabricated. The metamaterial is formed by combining two membranes of different thicknesses activated by a voice coil actuator. The voice coil actuator contains of a magnet and a coil. Here, two separate membrane elements are manufactured for the coil side and the magnet side and one of them is designed to move with the coil and the other with the magnet. After the necessary assembly operations are carried out, the structure moves together as a result of the input applied to the actuator. In this study, various membrane types were used for the cell structure. The effect of these membrane types on the frequencies of the cell structure in the air gap has been experimentally investigated. In addition, a theoretical model was created and validated by comparing the outputs obtained with the experimental results.
