İstanbul Anadolu Yakasındaki Akvaryum Tesislerinin Mevcut Durumu

Bu çalışmada, İstanbul ilinin Anadolu Yakasındaki ilçelerde bulunan akvaryum işletmelerinin mevcut durumu, faaliyet özellikleri, sorunları ve talepleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı 2022 yılı verilerine göre İstanbul Anadolu yakasında 179 adet işletme bulunmaktadır. Bu işletmelerden 25 tanesi ile anket çalışması yapılmış ve bunlara göre analizler hazırlanmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen verilere göre göre, işletmelerin %88 inin aile işletmesi, %12'sinin ise limitet şirket olduğu, işletmelerin %42'sinde 1 kişi, %38'inde 2 kişi, %12'sinde 3 kişi ve %8 inde ise 4 kişi ve üstü çalışan olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İşletmelerde çalışanların eğitim düzeylerinin %15'i ortaöğretim, %49’u lise, %8’i ön lisans ve %18’inin ise lisans mezunu olduğu, işletmelerde çalışanların %21’inin bayan ve %79'unun erkek olduğu görülmüştür. İşletmelerde çalışanlarının %20'sinin sektörle ilgili eğitim almadıkları, % 80'inin ise sektörle ilgili eğitim aldıklarının tespit edilirken, işletmelerin %88’inin kiralık yerlerde faaliyet gösterirken, %18'in mülk sahibi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İşletmelerde satılan balıkların %35'inin ithal, %65'inin ise yerli balık olduğu, işletmelerin %20’si akvaryumlara periyodik bakım hizmeti verirken, % 80’inin ise bakım hizmeti vermediği görülmüştür. İşletmeleri son yıllarda olumsuz etkileyen en önemli hususların internet üzerinden yapılan satışlar (%40), maliyetlerin artması (%41) ve balık teminindeki güçlükler (%19) olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda akvaryum balıkçılığının içinde bulunduğu zorluklar ve bu zorluklara yönelik çözüm önerileri sıralanmıştır

In this study, we tried to determine the current situation, activity characteristics, problems and demands of aquarium businesses located in the districts on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul. According to the 2022 data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, there are 179 businesses on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. A survey was conducted with 25 of these businesses and analyzes were prepared accordingly. According to the data obtained from the surveys, 88% of the businesses are family businesses, 12% are limited companies, 42% of the businesses have 1 person, 38% have 2 people, 12% have 3 people and 8% have 4 people. It has been determined that there are employees of one person or more. It has been observed that 15% of the education levels of the employees in the enterprises are secondary education, 49% are high school, 8% are associate degree and 18% are undergraduate, 21% of the employees in the enterprises are female and 79% are male. It was determined that 20% of the employees of the enterprises did not receive training related to the sector and 80% of them received training related to the sector, while 88% of the enterprises operated in rented places and 18% were property owners. It has been observed that 35% of the fish sold in enterprises are imported and 65% are local fish, while 20% of the enterprises provide periodic maintenance services to aquariums, 80% do not provide maintenance services. It has been determined that the most important issues that have negatively affected businesses in recent years are online sales (40%), increasing costs (41%) and difficulties in fish supply (19%). As a result of the research, the difficulties faced by aquarium fisheries and solution suggestions for these difficulties are listed.
