In this paper, the (G' /G)-expansion method for solving some transonic gas flows equations is introduced.
(G'/G)-expansion method algorithm is tested on Lin-Reissner-Tsien and K´arm´an-Fal’kovich-Guderley
equations. New exact analytical solutions are obtained with the help of symbolic computation. It is shown
that the method is a powerful and efficient method in determination of solution of the nonlinear transonic
gas flows equations.
