On February 13, 2026, the TEKNOFEST Marine Systems Workshop was held at Marmara University in collaboration with Kocaeli University. The workshop facilitated a comprehensive exchange of ideas on the TEKNOFEST marine systems categories; evaluation criteria, technical requirements, and team strategies were discussed in detail.
This productive event, contributing to the strengthening of scientific collaboration networks, facilitated the sharing of experiences among different teams.
The AURA Team, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Serhat YILMAZ from the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering at Kocaeli University, and the TeknoForce team, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berke GÜR from Marmara University, shared their experiences, technical challenges, and accumulated knowledge, particularly regarding the TEKNOFEST Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (ROV/AUV) competitions, with the participants.
The sharing of field experience by the AURA Team, in which our students actively participated, is extremely valuable for the development of new teams and the enhancement of their technical competencies.
In line with our country's Blue Homeland vision and its goals of full independence, collaboration and knowledge sharing between academia, industry, and student communities are of paramount importance. We hope to see an increase in such events and further strengthen academic and industry collaborations.
