Biography
Halil Yiğit was born in Kocaeli, Gölcük in 1977. He received his undergraduate (2002), master's (2005) and doctorate (2010) degrees in the Electronics and Computer Education Department of the same university. Between 2013-2022, he was the Head of the Department of Information Systems Engineering at Kocaeli University, Faculty of Technology. He works as an Associate Professor in the same department. Current research areas include mobile/wireless communication systems, artificial intelligence, optimization and metaheuristics.
